FCB Academy "Back to College" Campaign | Summer 2020

This summer I was able to intern remotely with the renowned advertising agency, Foote Cone and Belding (FCB), over the summer in their five-week academy program where I collaborated and learned directly from FCB directors and strategic planning teams. It was an all-immersive, hands on educational program that engaged and enabled us to create and brainstorm with 60 other interns from all over the country. Each week we were briefed with strategy and content creation assignments, but our last week of the program, we were briefed with a real-world client, Walmart, to produce a creative advertising campaign for back-to-college.

Below you will find our final presentation my team and I created and my strategy that was recognized by senior leadership and their CEO, Kelly Graves, in our final presentation. I was so grateful to have been apart of this program. Even during a summer storm and creating a campaign without consistent wifi, it was evident that everyone who works for FCB cares and is passionate about their work—and their coworkers. I hope you enjoy our work!

International Advertising Abroad | Summer 2019

Welcome to my creative portfolio! This is where I want to showcase all of the advertising work and campaigns I executed while I was in Europe for three weeks this summer. As one of my first-ever, real-world, projects and advertising campaigns, I have to say that I am very proud of the work I have created and the teams I was able to work with.

Below you will find the three "mock" advertising campaigns I worked on with clients from each country I visited. This experience allowed me to get a glimpse of what advertising is like on a global scale. I learned a lot about what makes a brand equitable, likable, and trusted. In an industry filled with creative minds and an abundance of ideas, I have realized that it can be very challenging to compete against so many other companies and it really comes down to how well you can create authentic, relevant, and simple work.

I had the chance to experience a week in Cannes, France, at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity which is a five-day annual festival celebrating big-name corporations and companies that come to discuss, honor, and inspire their achievements this past year. Filled with presentations, talks, workshops, and performances, celebrities, and professionals get to share their experiences and I am more than grateful for being able to have been a part of it. I hope you enjoy this snapshot of what creative work I can do within the expectations of a real advertising and communications campaign—this was also a lot of fun!
